Village societies (and individuals) are invited to join the procession at Ditchling Fair on Saturday 20 June 2026

We’d love to see more of the village societies dressing up and joining in this year’s procession at 1pm on Saturday 20 June. Led by the Wizard, and the Sussex Yeomanry horses, the procession through the village is a highlight of Ditchling’s Fair Day. It’s a great opportunity to promote your club while enjoying walking the procession route in fancy dress with everyone else. 

Come dressed in an outfit that fits this year’s Larks, Laughter and Legends theme, maybe with ideas linked to your society. But there’s always room to improvise! Just dress up and have fun!

Groups and individuals gather at the start point outside Ditchling (St Margaret’s) Primary School by 12.45pm. Please email thefairchair@gmail.com to let us know that you or your group will be taking part, and we’ll send you the short group registration form.
