Anyone interested in hosting illustrated talks ?: I give one entitled “The Art of the Goldsmith:Dunstan Pruden and his legacy”.

I am a third generation Goldsmith & Silversmith based in Ditchling, Sussex.

My grandfather was the silversmith in the Eric Gill-founded Guild on Ditchling common between 1932 and his death in 1974.

The talk, although loosely based upon my grandfather's life & work, also contains a little art history and technical explanation. I bring along actual tools and materials, work in progress and finished work. I have been told it is both informative and entertaining.

As a semi-retired director, one aim is to promote our craft business, but it is also fun & rewarding. Any fees offered (not necessary) are given to either a charity of your choice or a local charity for homeless youngsters called Sussex Nightstop.
