Our display competition was judged by Sue, one of of our school governors, here is what she said:

What an honour you have bestowed on me to judge this competition!

They are all wonderful and I have so enjoyed looking at them. I would love them all to win or at least give all the entrants an extra House Point, on top of the 2 they get already.

In R-3 group – I loved the collage of the girl on the swing by Felicity. It was very colourful and I loved the use of the different textures especially the worm/caterpillar. I really had a tie in this group as I also loved the boy pupil (with logo on his shirt) reading the Zoo Poo book by Athel! Very funny and again colourful and detailed.

In the older 4-6 category again I had two winners – Olivia and Idun. They were similar in message but portrayed in different ways. I liked the fact that Olivia had added our logo to the child’s jumper.

I thought Idun’s words were inspiring – anyone with a skill set that includes baking, comedy maths/science as well as being a good friend will go far!

Congratulations to everyone who took part – they have all made my day.
