SDNP notice re Neighbourhood Plan - Consultation period

THE SOUTH DOWNS NATIONAL PARK AUTHORITY PUBLIC NOTICE OF PUBLICATION OF THE DITCHLING, STREAT AND WESTMESTON NEIGHBOURHOOD DEVELOPMENT PLAN

CONSULTATION FROM 5 JULY TO 16 AUGUST 2017

REGULATION 16 – THE NEIGHBOURHOOD PLANNING (GENERAL) REGULATIONS 2012 AND THE LOCALISM ACT 2011

DITCHLING, STREAT & WESTMESTON NEIGHBOURHOOD DEVELOPMENT PLAN

Ditchling, Streat and Westmeston Parish Councils as the qualifying body have prepared a Neighbourhood Development Plan, for the parishes of Ditchling, Streat and Westmeston with the help of the local community. The plan sets out a vision for the future of the parishes and includes planning policies on housing, transport, business & tourism, conservation & the environment and community infrastructure. Once adopted, these policies will be used to determine planning applications locally.

WHERE THE PLAN CAN BE INSPECTED

Copies of the Neighbourhood Development Plan and supporting documents are available to view on the South Downs National Park Authority website: www.southdowns.gov.uk/beaconvillages-ndp 

 Hard copies are available for inspection between 09.00 and 17.00 Monday to Friday at South Downs National Park Authority’s office and at Ditchling Parish Council offices and Ditchling Post Office during opening times.

HOW TO MAKE REPRESENTATIONS

If you would like to make a representation on the neighbourhood plan, please send your representation to neighbourhood@southdowns.gov.uk  or in writing to: Neighbourhood Planning at the South Downs National Park Authority address above.

NOTIFICATION

Any representations may include a request to be notified regarding the SDNPA’s decision under Regulation 19 to make the submitted neighbourhood development plan for Ditchling, Streat and Westmeston.

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT ALL REPRESENTATIONS RECEIVED BY THE SDNPA WILL BE PUBLICLY AVAILABLE (personal contact details will not be published)
