Ditchling Singers

Ditchling Singers was originally formed in October 2010 by Herbie Flowers and Michael Hinton, and we are now in our 8th season.

We are a friendly community choir. Everyone is welcome, whether you live in Ditchling or elsewhere, and whatever your experience and ability (no auditions!)

We have a repertoire of popular classics from the 1930s to the present day, taking in Gershwin, The Beach Boys, songs from the shows, Simon and Garfunkel, ABBA and many more along the way.

We usually perform in public three or four times a year and have, in the past, sung at the Ditchling Village Fair, Burgess Hill Town Centre, Shoreham Centre, Ditchling Village Hall and, once, even sang live on Radio Sussex up on Ditchling Beacon as part of the celebrations when the South Downs were inaugurated as a National Park.

If you are intersted and want to find out more see the contact details at the foot of the page, or simply come along and join in one of our rehearsals. For newcomers the first rehearsal is free of charge, thereafter it is £4 a session.
