Ditchling Museum Friends Association

The Ditchling Museum Friends' Association is an independent registered charity (No.1127904).  Its primary aim is to support the Trustees and Director by providing practical and financial assistance to the Museum.  Through various fundraising activities the Friends contribute towards the Museum's expenses which traditionally include the purchase of artefacts, the conservation of items in the collection, the improvement of facilities and support for the Learning Programme.

As a member of the Friends' Association you are entitled to FREE ENTRY to the Museum at all times.  You will receive a Friends newsletter 'The Wyvern Flyer' three times a year and will be invited to Museum private views and all social and fundraising events organised by the Friends' committee.  You can join the Friends on the website, at the Museum front desk.  For more information about membership please email

Membership rates

  • Annual Membership Adult £20, Concession £15
  • Annual Joint Membership (2 named persons) £30, Concession Joint £25
  • Life Membership Adult £120, Concession £90

Concessions 60 years and over or full time students with current Student Card.  Admission to the Museum is free for children of 16 years of age and under when accompanied by an adult.
