Friends of St Margaret's Church

The Trust's objectives are the maintenance, repair, and replacement of: 1. The fabric of the Church. 2. The organ. 3. The contents of the building. 4. The Churchyard including: planting, replanting of shrubs and trees.

We provide financial support to help the PCC the maintain the Church, a Grade I listed building, for future generations. The Friends organisation is non-denominational, and a number of our members are not church goers.

The Friends were formed in 1993 and since then have formed a strong following in the local community. Funds are raised mainly by donations and bequests.

There are 7 trustees, all of whom are village residents, and there are over 50 friends who make regular financial contributions.
